When I was little, I often imagined that my wedding would be grand - a princess dress, a celebration in a palace with hundreds of guests. Later, I realized that such a wedding can easily become a celebration for others, but not for myself. The more I thought about traditional weddings, the more I realized they weren't for me. Color matching napkins and shoe soles is not something I want to do. Partying, a guest house and musicians playing hits were not part of my plans, nor the groom's. For a long time, we thought about which type of ceremony to choose. It just seems that the same wishes have been read in the registry offices for decades, but religion and the church were not close to my fiance. Listening to the stories of my married friends about distant relatives who insistently taught me how to organize a wedding, I really wanted to run away in time.
