HEART ISLAND – ZANE DOVE

Artist Zane Balode turned to lithography. Her first work made in this technique "Island of the Heart" was available in the campaign "Art beautifies Latvia!"

"When painting, the most important thing for me is to touch the deepest strings of the audience's soul, capture the emotions of that moment and make them feel. Feminine, sensual, delicate," reveals Zane Balode.

Studied at the master's degree of the LMA's painting department, supplemented her knowledge at the University of Porto /Universidade do Porto/ and held 5 personal exhibitions.
Participated in group exhibitions in France, Germany and Ukraine. Laureate of the Brederlo-von Sengbusch art prize in 2008 and 2010. Zane's paintings are in private collections in Germany, England, Ukraine, Norway, Ireland and Russia.
