ALTERNATIVE TO THE ACTIVE WEDDING SEASON – FALL WEDDING

ALTERNATIVE TO THE ACTIVE WEDDING SEASON – FALL WEDDING

Weddings in autumn definitely have something magical. The pink leaves, saturated tones, the special autumn light and the desire to hug each other much closer than in the hot summer months. Although summer is undoubtedly the busy season for weddings, for many couples and those working in the wedding industry, autumn is the first choice for weddings. Therefore, if you have started planning your wedding and have not yet agreed on a time and date, then you should consider an autumn alternative.

Saturated burgundy tone

Wedding organizer Nadia Fry / Nadia Fry Events , which mainly specializes in organizing weddings in France, has observed that autumn weddings are most often preferred by those couples:

  • who actively work during the summer months;
  • as well as those who like non-standard solutions;
  • is not afraid of weather fluctuations;
  • and appreciates the bright colors of autumn - yellow, orange, red and purple.

In her opinion, a slightly bohemian style would be best for an autumn wedding, choosing a rich burgundy tone as the main color of the wedding decorations.

Do not leave planning until the last moment

If you decide to postpone your fall wedding planning until the last minute, you may unwittingly face the disappointment that the service providers and wedding venues you envisioned may no longer be available.

There can be several reasons for this:

  1. First of all, in recent years it has been increasingly proven that September is still part of the active wedding season;
  2. On the other hand, October is the time when wedding service providers (photographers, videographers, wedding organizers, decorators and others involved) one after the other, just like migratory birds, leave for warmer or more distant lands, that is, they go on vacation after many working hours in the summer months. That is why the idea that an autumn wedding can be arranged much sooner and at the last minute is wrong - planning will be necessary in any case.

The venue should be chosen according to autumn humidity

Of course, in order to book an event place at all, you have to find the most suitable one for the event. When evaluating the offer, one should take into account the weather typical of autumn - possible rain and humidity, which means that holding a wedding celebration outdoors, on one of the restaurant terraces or in the so popular barn-type buildings, could be a challenge.

On the other hand, celebration places with large windows will be just in time, because in this way nature itself will take care of the beauty of the decorations.

You should definitely not forget to take care of the well-being of the guests, therefore, if you have decided to hold the wedding ceremony outdoors surrounded by colorful trees, then you must tell the guests in advance, warning them about suitable clothing, and in case of cold and rain, provide guests with heating elements, such as blankets and umbrellas.

Decorations will be provided by autumn itself

Despite the possible humidity and the unpredictability of the weather, the right time to use everything that nature's diversity offers is autumn.

The gorgeous autumn flowers (dahlias have, so to speak, been reborn in recent years, and couples are choosing them more and more often because of their intense color and volume), the colorful tree leaves, even the large harvest of pumpkins – these are all elements to use and play with when planning decorations. Combined with seasonal offerings on the menu, wedding tables will look full of abundance.

Autumn light

Autumn light is a special joy for wedding photographers - although the days are shorter and it gets dark faster, it is in the autumn light that you can create fantastic wedding pictures.

On the other hand, when it gets dark, strings of lamps and candles will add not only light, but also mood and warmth to the place of celebration.
