Before taking pictures:

I give advice on how to prepare successfully if necessary;

I give instructions on posing so that the person looks as good as possible in the picture;
If the atmosphere is fun, I don't shy away from jokes;

The main goal of a photo session is to get not only beautiful photos, but also a pleasant experience and feelings of photography. One of the components of the experience is receiving the photographs, so I am also very punctual with the processing time of the pictures - I do it within a week. I take just enough orders to meet these deadlines.

About me

I am friendly, open and kind-hearted by nature - this is also my work style as a photographer. Because of this, many of my clients become good friends with whom we meet regularly for photo shoots. I usually want to get to know everyone, but I don't push, because I want it to happen naturally and both parties feel comfortable.

Photography is not just a profession for me, it is a matter of the heart.

I have always had the opportunity to give up this profession, but I choose not to do it again and again, because there is something magical about making people happy by creating beautiful images for them in a pleasant atmosphere. I enjoy this job from the beginning to the long processing of the pictures, during which I often smile, because I am very grateful that I have been given the opportunity to be present in a person's special moments and capture them.

15 years of experience in photography;
I have attended photo training classes for 10 years, where I learned not only the technical nuances, but also the history of photography, its most outstanding authors, how to create a concept for photo stories and how to create them;
I attend at least 2 master classes every year to improve my photography skills;
I believe that the work of a photographer is not only a profession, but an aesthetic lifestyle;
I have studied human psychology and communication skills.

Photography style

A little about my style:

Really likes creating the mood of a movie;
I try to stick to minimalism in the frame, leaving behind everything superfluous;
I like to capture happy moments, but I'm not afraid of sadness either;
Use of natural and soft light, but likes to experiment;
In the photo session, I make the shot thoughtfully beautiful, aesthetic;
Love the detail and mood shots that make up the story.

How to get to the photo session?

It is often the individual photo sessions that are difficult to get. I give myself a photo session once a year - it's self-care and an opportunity to feel beautiful. I really like this tradition because with the annual photo shoot we can see how we are changing. Of course, another benefit is the possibility to use the pictures for practical purposes.

There can be various reasons for a photo session:

Child's expectations;
Annual ritual;
Another special event I want to capture.

Photo session environment

I know how to see a beautiful shot in places that others would pass by, so I can also help you find a photogenic location:

In nature - beach, meadows, forest, lake, manors, castles, apple orchard, botanical garden (May-October);
In the urban environment - meadows, parks, Old Riga, beautiful street views (May-October);
In my photo studio or other rented premises.

But in general I have photographed in any environment and I am open to creative ideas, and I have a huge Pinterest board with inspiration pictures for the location.
