Guest house “SVILPAUNIEKI” is a family business, for whom the most important thing is creating a cozy atmosphere and guests' well-being.

“SVILPAUNIEKI” is a two-story apartment-type guest house with eight different rooms: one – single, three – double, four – family rooms. There is also a shared kitchen, where you can not only prepare your own dinner, but also get to know other guests of the guest house. Free internet is available here, but we have forgone televisions. We invite you to spend quality time with fellow human beings, conversing, jointly listening to the sounds of nature, traveling or simply being together.

“We have given the house a second life – in 1951 a sauna was built in this place, where locals pampered their soul and body amidst fragrant water vapor. After that, this house experienced several changes of ownership until it came into our hands. We have tried to do everything to make every guest feel welcome here, and will certainly continue to develop both the guest house and the surrounding environment,” reveals Mārtiņš, the owner of the guest house.

“SVILPAUNIEKI” is like a springboard from which to launch oneself to get to know Latgale in all its splendor and diversity. Everyone here will find something for themselves: the peace of nature or adventures, new impressions or an excitement in the chest created by cultural events.
