Celebrate, not relax!
When I am asked how I manage a wedding, I have a hard time answering. Most will confirm that excellent. Another will say, out of breath, that it's funny. A real Latvian from the 2nd table will add - it was normal.
When I'm asked what to expect from a wedding I'll officiate, it's very easy for me to answer. All I can offer are wet armpits, regular gasps and thunderous laughter. Churchill said something similar.
I'm Latvian, but I wouldn't tell from my behavior.
- I like to say "Hello" and "Welcome" to guests when waiting in the parking lot of the guest house, receiving surprised looks in return: "you start the conversation first when the sun is so high!?"
- I will talk to the guest house staff, caterers, bartenders and other wedding colleagues to make sure everyone knows what to do and when. Anyway, my job is wedding manager.
- I will make sure that the guests are in the same place, at the same time, and in the same rhythm when the new couple arrives. And yes, I will teach the guests how to welcome the new couple the way people who are getting married for the last time should be welcomed.
- I will feel the crowd throughout the evening - I will give as much as I will receive. If the crowd thinks they can't do it anymore, I'll say they can do one more. And then another one, and another one... But there will also be a moment for chats, a photo booth and standing in line at the bar, because a wedding should be like a good interval workout - with a chance to rest.
In the end, I will not be a typical Latvian again and I will thoroughly enrich myself with experience.
- Managing events is my main job, and I have been managing weddings since August 6, 2016.
- I ended the year 2025 with 280 weddings.
- Both wedding agencies and millionaires trust me.
- I have officiated weddings for both a wedding DJ and several wedding photographers. Therefore, imagine how many different managers they chose me!?
- I have conducted weddings outside the borders of Latvia as well.
- I like to dance with grandmothers at weddings - I won't tell you the exact number, but my 100 grandmothers are definitely danced.
If you want to celebrate, laugh, dance, sweat, kiss, and leave your rest for the honeymoon - then I will wait for your message!
