Group Smaržo Po Letus - music that inspires and moves

Youth vocal-instrumental group Smells like the Rain combines passion for music, energy and joy, which they have been giving to listeners for more than three years. Founded in Jūrmala, the group regularly performs throughout Latvia, playing both popular Latvian hits and new pieces. Their repertoire is suitable for both fun parties and more intimate settings, and you will also find popular English cover versions.

Why Smells After Rain ?
The name "Smells After Rain" came about completely unplanned. While preparing for our first concert, during a rehearsal break we decided over a cup of tea that the band needed a name. Although a completely different name was originally chosen, the drummer came into the rehearsal room smelling the fresh after-rain aroma and said: "Smells like rain" . This emotional and lively name perfectly reflects the atmosphere and energy of our group.
