BLINDED BY THE SUN A MOVIE ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS

Sun Blinded is about the vacation and recovery of a celebrity couple, a famous rock star and a director, on a sun-kissed and remote Italian island. The idyllic peace of the vacationers is unexpectedly disturbed by the arrival of the rock star's ex-lover with his daughter. A meeting that ignites passions and jealousy becomes dangerous for all involved.

“Blinded by the Sun” is a dazzling and sensual portrait of lust, jealousy and rock 'n' roll against the backdrop of the Mediterranean. This is already the second joint project for film director Luca Guadagnino and actress Tilda Swinton. The actress starred in the director's 2009 film "I am love", which was nominated for the Academy Award "Oskars" for the best costumes.

The film was inspired by the 1969 Jacques Deray film "The Swimming Pool" (La Piscine/ The Swimming Pool). The film's original title, A Bigger Splash, is a direct reference to the famous pop art artist David Hockney's painting of the same name. Although this reference was originally intended, the filmmakers later had to remove the footage from the Tate Gallery, where the work currently resides.

Starring "Oscar" winner Tilda Swinton ("The Grand Budapest Hotel", "Burn After Reading"), two-time Oscar nominee Ralph Fiennes ("Harry Potter", "The English Patient"), Dakota Johnson ("Fifty Shades Of Grey") and Matthias Schoenerts ("Far From The Loud Crowd").

Film in English with subtitles in Latvian and Russian.
