Have you ever had the feeling that something is holding you back? Sometimes it's clear as day who's to blame, but most of the time we limit ourselves unconsciously. The mind is complex, it has the power to manifest infinite possibilities and create a world where you can achieve anything, but it can also become your worst enemy in seconds. How to change limiting self-concepts to gain unshakable mental strength?
You must have heard a lot of recommendations - use positive mantras, affirmations, almost ritual-like tricks for improving mental strength... But how often is it talked about what to avoid?
When it comes to growth, clarity is the most important thing. By understanding how to deal with your inner demons and protect yourself from the enemies that live in your head, you can experience true growth!
Are you limiting your potential with these five mental barriers?
I have written about the importance of ego and how it can increase your self-esteem and create better conditions for you. But the ego can also be like a tree with two ends. As soon as you start taking your game of life too seriously, you are holding back your potential.
There is a saying - you will never get out of life alive. Instead of taking yourself too seriously, remember to enjoy life. When you are constantly surprised by your existence and the possibilities around you, you can finally understand who you really are and what potential you have.

Mark Twain said, "You cannot trust your eyes when your imagination is not in focus." You see everything through your own filter. If you want to reach your destination, you must see it with absolute clarity in your mind. If you don't know where you're going, you probably won't get there.
If you don't have a vision for your future, create one. Be specific. Describe what you see, what you smell, what you taste, what you touch. Do you feel your heart start to beat faster the moment you finally touch the finish line? By adding as much emotion and detail as possible, this visualization becomes extremely powerful and will bring you success if you approach it with absolute conviction.

The universe loves speed. Spend too much time analyzing the situation and you'll get stuck. Overthinking and overanalyzing is usually a byproduct of fear. But what would your life look like without this anxiety? My experience is that the moment you stop doing this, you will be able to get more done and always achieve your goals in record time. Remember, thinking does not overcome fear, but doing does.

Too many make big decisions based on emotion instead of facts. This makes sense, because it is in the human spirit to take risks and follow your intuition with unwavering commitment to move forward. However, whenever an important decision has to be made, it is worth taking a step back, analyzing the situation (in moderation, of course), consulting a trusted person and looking at the facts, rather than acting on a rush of emotions.

You are too demanding of yourself. Instead of accepting your mistakes and continuing to work, you fall into the trap of self-flagellation and criticism. You get into a "flight or fight" state, which prevents you from making decisions in the future. Not to mention that this way of thinking only creates anxiety. It is important to stop. Stop doubting yourself. Stop running in the squirrel wheel that keeps turning in your mind. Stop dwelling on past mistakes and start looking for ways to correct them and move forward.
If you recognize one of these limiting mental barriers in yourself, know that you have already taken the first step to overcome it.
