Before starting to plan the wedding, it is very important to get inspiration for the whole picture and be inspired by nuances, things, places, works of art or even movies. But let's face it, the main source of inspiration is your story. What is it? What makes you stand out? And exactly at the moment when you are inspired and see the visual scene of the wedding day, it is the right time to create a wedding concept, find an appropriate wedding style, color palette or even propose a wedding theme.

Wedding budget

It is important to decide on the amount of wedding budget that you are ready to devote to your wedding day celebrations at the very beginning of planning. It is also important to keep in mind the unexpected costs that may arise during the process, so it is important that the allocated budget is flexible.

Wedding ceremony

The wedding ceremony is the most important moment of the wedding day, where you will say "I do" to each other, so this moment should be exactly what you have dreamed of and what is exactly about you. There are several possible variants of the ceremony:

Ceremony in the church at the altar. It is important to take into account that this type of ceremony requires a longer preparation process and perhaps time should be allocated for newlywed courses. Therefore, we recommend contacting the chosen pastor as early as possible.

Ceremony at the registry office/off-site ceremony conducted by the registry office. When concluding a marriage at the registry office, the application is accepted no sooner than 6 months before the wedding day, and the minimum submission period is one month and one day before the date of the marriage you have chosen.

Marriage ceremony presided over by the leader of the evening or some other person. You need to schedule time to arrange the formalities, therefore we recommend arranging the documents either the day before the wedding day or during the first part of the wedding day.

Choosing a wedding date

The date must be liked, and the choice of date is often associated with some important event in the couple's life. But to get to the date, you first need to choose your wedding month. I am attaching questions that might light the way to your wedding date:

• Is there a common, important event in your life together that is associated with a specific number? Can this number be converted to a date?
• What number is your favorite? Can this number be used as a basis for choosing the date of the wedding day?
• Is there an event associated with a particular day? Maybe you both like one particular day?
• Do you have a "flavor of summer" without which you can't imagine summer and would like to incorporate it into your wedding day? For example, lavender! You choose the wedding day exactly in the month when lavender fields are blooming around you, and include lavender in the wedding concept as well.
• Have you decided on the type of ceremony? The type of ceremony can also influence the choice of date.

Guest list

In order to successfully cope with the planning process, it is recommended to understand the possible number of guests at your wedding day celebration from the very beginning. Whether it will be a larger wedding, a family wedding, or the wedding day will be spent only with ushers - all this affects the amount of the budget estimate.

Save the date and your wedding website

Save the date is an informative prelude to invitations. Upon receipt, your guests will schedule your wedding day on their calendars, and further information in the form of wedding invitations will follow approximately four to six months before the wedding day.

Your wedding website does a wonderful job of communicating with your guests. With the help of the website, it is possible to make your communication with guests much more personal through photos and stories. It's great to include a preliminary day plan, welcome notes, and information about your wedding team in case guests have any questions.

Completing the wedding team

In order for your wedding day to turn out exactly as dreamed in point no. 1, we recommend assembling a wedding team that will be able to realize your wedding day as early as possible. We also recommend to use one extra day for relaxation in solitude after the wedding celebration, if possible, in the place of your choice or elsewhere. Items included in the wedding day:
