HOW TO ENJOY YOUR WEDDING DAY?

HOW TO ENJOY YOUR WEDDING DAY?

More than one bride has indicated that the wedding day goes by faster than one might wish. Anxiety, emotions, worries only accelerate this time. But is it possible to stop time and how can we make sure that we enjoy our special day to the fullest?  LĪGAVĀM was looking for an answer to this question.

On the wedding day – no practical questions

Even if you have decided to organize your wedding yourself, without involving a wedding organizer, on the wedding day, it is recommended to hire or find a wedding day coordinator among your closest people - this will be the person who will answer questions about where to put the flowers, welcome the musicians, show everything that is necessary for the leader of the evening, and take care of other issues that would otherwise have to be solved by the new couple themselves.

Unfortunately, there are still many brides who want to take care of everything on their wedding day, later admitting that they did not enjoy their wedding day at all. Pretty harsh, isn't it? Therefore, it is better to learn from other people's mistakes and take this advice into account.

Stop yourself and time for a minute

Although the bride and groom are, of course, at the center of the entire wedding day and celebration, it is recommended to stop time for a short moment. How to do it? Step aside for a moment and look at your loved ones, guests, friends, and family members – how lucky you are to have them with you on this particular day and to be together.

To spend time only with each other

Wedding planners are increasingly recommending that the couple find time to spend only with each other on their wedding day. Although it is usually the time after the wedding ceremony, when the couple with the ushers most often go out, the day and the togetherness could be even more enjoyed by being alone before the ceremony. In addition, it can also be organized as a surprise for the couple themselves, attracting a decorator and thus making this event even more special.

Everything is in the details - a handwritten letter, a favorite book or an encouraging thank you for each other

These are the small and special things that will allow you to calm down your emotions and enjoy the day even more. Brides are advised to write a letter on the morning of the wedding not only to their loved one, but also to themselves - a reminder of how happy you feel will allow you to return to these feelings in the following days of your life. You can also prepare a written letter or thank-you for each other in advance.

Look only at him

Unless you've decided to spend your wedding day alone, you won't be able to avoid the happy looks of your friends and loved ones. This is of course wonderful, but to keep the special spark just between you, couples are advised to look at each other - especially when the bride takes a step towards her groom.

During the whole evening, you should also remember to look at each other and from time to time sink into the gaze of your loved one.

Everything happens as it should

Knowing that we can't control everything will definitely help you enjoy your wedding day - sometimes you just have to let things happen. Even if everything doesn't go as planned on your wedding day, there's no reason not to enjoy your special day.

Don't let the little things steal away what's really important - you've met each other. Former brides already recommend to laugh a lot on the wedding day and about everything - even if something doesn't go as planned.

A little selfishness on the wedding day won't hurt

Don't worry if you don't manage to talk to all the guests during the evening - it's your day and that's exactly how it should be perceived. Your guests know where the newlyweds' table is, and if they want, they'll come up to you to say hello, take pictures, and hang out.

Be a little selfish this day - you're allowed!
