"In our case, we managed to organize the wedding without a professional organizer, however, each couple has to evaluate their options.

We very enthusiastically wanted to do it ourselves, and we were also aware of our advantages - our conductors are very well versed in the field of weddings and are extremely hardworking and selfless, and we are also lucky to have family members who have golden hands," Baiba and Emils say.

Baiba and Emils advise other couples not to try to implement all possible party ideas, activities and decorations that have been saved somewhere, but to consider whether the wedding day could do without something, to create a unifying story and to leave part of your must have for other events.

When creating a possible wedding scenario, remember that it cannot be cluttered. The wedding plan and scenario are, of course, an integral part of the wedding, but couples also recommend planning simple moments of rest and togetherness, when guests can indulge in conversations, instead of constantly participating in some activities.

Also, when planning a wedding scenario, the principle works - "what's too much, what's too much", so on the wedding day, you should refrain from long journeys, ten different locations for the photo session or a scenario where the couple doesn't have a minute to spend alone in peaceful solitude.

When preparing the scenario, you must also remember to take care of the guests. "Don't take it for granted that the guests will be happy waiting for the new couple for five hours from the photo session and outing with the guides.

If so, it is better to do without guests. On the other hand, if there are guests, then they should also be taken care of, without making them wait too long, by providing snacks and drinks. In our case, we organized a photo session and a small outing before the wedding ceremony, which allowed us to be with the guests for the rest of the day, which we really wanted," Baiba and Emil remember.

Prepare promises in time

There are things that can be put off a bit and there are things that cannot. Although booking various service providers and purchasing a wedding dress on time are often considered urgent matters, there are many other details that should definitely not be left to the last minute. One of them is writing wedding vows if you have decided to prepare them yourself.

Couples who have used this option admit that it is not so easy to write them, it requires time and emotional investment, but the end result is definitely worth it.
