Honeymoon... your special time together to celebrate love and get to know each other. How to spend it, where to go, when to go and is it necessary at all? There is no universal recipe for a perfect honeymoon. We listen to ourselves, plan and find the right one!
If the vacation days have already been spent preparing for the wedding, and there are only a few days left to enjoy the status of the new - married couple - they can also be spent specially without going far away. Brides who have saved all their vacation days for their honeymoon often regret that they didn't start their vacation at least a couple of days before the wedding, thus gaining valuable time for both the final organizational work and for a calm mind and body in order before the big day.

Since weddings are most often held on the weekend, if you have worked for a whole week before that, you will be quite tired by Friday and Saturday, and this time will hardly be very productive at work either - your thoughts will already be hovering around the big day and you will most likely perceive work duties as a distraction. It is worth thinking about whether it would be more useful if you take a few days off before the wedding to complete the remaining details before the responsible event without rush and stress and allow yourself a relaxing spa vacation with the groom or a beauty program with your best friend or bridesmaid.
If the obstacle to a traditional wedding trip to warm countries is not a lack of time, but funds (for example, the money given is intended for a large purchase, down payment, etc., not for recreation), consider the possibility of organizing a honeymoon with minimal costs - staying at home (thus not paying travel and accommodation expenses).
But don't spend this time as usual - create a special honeymoon program for each free day!

Think about how much of what you would like to try and learn, you don't have enough time and energy for every day! this is an opportunity to learn something new together with the groom - a new dance, a water sport, a musical instrument - anything that unites you both. To create a romantic atmosphere and a holiday mood, you can start each day with a special breakfast or end it with dinner in a new restaurant each time.
Stay a few days in the guest house/manor/hotel where you celebrated your wedding before you go to discover everything that is still undiscovered in your city. Enjoy the peace, the picturesque scenery, the activities that the surrounding area has to offer. Dwell on memories, draw strength from nature, be only for each other! After that, have date nights or mornings /like brunches/ with parents and friends on the town, during which you will reminisce about the big day, look at the pictures taken by the guests and just enjoy the time with the people you care about.

Unfortunately, the time immediately after the wedding tends to be tricky and the human psyche - not always rationally explainable. For many brides, the return to reality is painful. And that's just normal. For a whole year, your life was centered around this event, every day you planned, searched, communicated with someone, went hunting for the desired thing... Until the last day. And from today to tomorrow everything has changed. A busy schedule, a day full of events, a planner described to the brim has suddenly become inactive. As if you could do anything, but there is no great need, nothing burns... And you slowly sink into a depressive mood.

What to do? Treating the condition with the same medicine or throwing yourself into new planning, such as a wedding trip that is postponed for several months or even next summer.
Thus, you will not overburden yourself during the wedding preparations, planning and calculating the budget for two big events at once, and
after the wedding, you will subtly deceive yourself - you will again have something to plan, something to strive for, something to devote your time and energy to.
If the biggest costs of the wedding trip are planned to be covered from the money received as gifts, by buying the trip ahead of time (for example, a year in advance) you will save significantly and be able to afford what you couldn't dream of without additional funds.

Seychelles in the Indian Ocean is rightfully considered one of the top honeymoon destinations. You probably remember that Kate and William, one of the world's most famous couples, also went there on their honeymoon.
The good news is that Seychelles is far from being a destination only for royal couples. If you plan ahead, you can even find very good deals and the number of days (it takes time to get there and back) might be more of an issue than the high cost. There are 115 different islands in the Seychelles archipelago and many of them are completely secluded - you can spend a whole day on the island alone, enjoying the exotic nature undisturbed. Seychelles is still relatively unvisited by tourists, the season is all year round and an excellent service is provided, specifically aimed at newlyweds, as well as convenient transportation between the islands by helicopter. During one trip, you can spend each day on a different island within a 15-minute flight.
If you postpone the big trip for a later time, but still have a few days to relax after the wedding, enjoy this time in one of the most romantic cities in Europe, and there are many of them in Europe.
After new emotions and an unforgettable time in the most beautiful cities of Europe, go to Paris, Rome, Venice, Florence, Barcelona, Vienna, London, Prague, Budapest, Dublin...

To make your special time as a couple more impressive, divide it into two parts - a cultural part and a lazy rest on the beach.
Turkey, for example, is especially suitable for such a trip (and we won't even mention Antalya!). Turkey's largest city, which is also uniquely located in two parts of the world - Europe and Asia - is Istanbul full of contrasts, the heir of Constantinople - world-famous mosques, the tangible and intangible heritage of the Ottoman Empire, the Bosphorus strait between Europe and Asia and, of course, the special atmosphere of the East with a touch of the West - it is a city that everyone must see in their lifetime.
In the second part of the trip, go to the southwestern coast of Turkey - you will be surprised to learn that resorts such as Fethiye, Cesme Bodrum, Paradise Bay - are located in Turkey. It is a different world, different from Antalya like day and night, and it is not for nothing that Western Europeans - British, Irish, French - are so popular.

You can organize a honeymoon in France in a similar way - at the beginning of the trip, getting inspiration in Paris surrounded by love and art, continuing the rest in the world-famous French Riviera - Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Monaco, casinos, palm trees, red carpet and glamor - a part of the world of the rich and famous.
On the other hand, for couples who want more than lazily basking in the sun with a Malibu in hand during their honeymoon,
worth considering volunteering for the community.
Depending on the opportunities in your work and other commitments, you can spend between 2 and 12 months in voluntary work both in Europe and in other parts of the world, such as India or Africa. this time is an opportunity not only to really get to know a new culture and country from the inside and to help people, but also to expand your horizons, breaking away from your everyday life. The new circumstances will also be a good test of how both of you can adapt to changes, act in unprecedented situations, as well as simply a valuable life experience that often changes a person's future perspective on what is happening around them. Couples who do not plan to spend the money received as gifts on a trip will also benefit from the fact that most of the costs in such projects are covered.
