Helium balloons continue their victory march

Wedding decorator Dagnia Gaile / Love Letters states that helium balloons are still relevant at weddings.

“Helium balloons can effectively fill a large area, and they are also very easy to match the tones of a given event.

For example, I will decorate a wedding this summer, where organic glass podiums will be filled with mini balloons instead of the ceremony. Balloons easily set the tone for the event and at the same time give a playful and light mood. Balloons are also relevant mix with greens and flowers, thus giving them a slightly different character," advises Dagnia Gaile.

Properties of geometric shapes

The decorator also points out that geometric shapes are relevant this year, including mixing shapes for technical for the layout, for example, placing some tables round, some angular and arranging them in an interesting way around the room.

"Part of these tables can be covered with tablecloths, some only slightly covered with draperies. In general, the wedding in decorations, geometric dishes, vases, lines, clear and straight shapes are relevant.

The black and white combination has become relevant this year, white tablecloths are back in fashion, combining them with black and gray. Also there is an influx of many black interior objects in stores. It also shows that black is very much in right now current - black metal candlesticks, tableware, napkins, furniture and other interior items that can be used in wedding decoration," said Dagnia.

Confetti - for real joy

Wedding decorator Iluta Piternika / Mint Deco says that this year's wedding cannot be without confetti - it can be different shapes and colors - golden, colorful. "When using confetti, the main thing is to be careful with nature and shoot them like that in a way so that they can be collected afterwards," reminds Iluta.

Smoke candles

Wedding photographer Inta Lankovska / Inta Photography observed that smoke candles still seem accessories they want to use. It is true, however, that colored smoke candles are increasingly replacing white ones that create fog effects in photos and doesn't look too artificial.

The wedding photographer Ģirts Raģelis / Holdme Photography also admits that smoky candles are still a popular part of photo sessions, but they are less and less suggested by the photographers themselves. “It's fashion a thing that will slowly fade away, but sometimes it will be useful for atmosphere and mood.

Smoky candles can only be one of the components of a beautiful picture, so that the smoke does not dominate, but only serves as an accent." recommends Ģirts.

Flower crowns are no longer relevant

Wedding organizers around the world point out that flower crowns and wreaths for brides' hair have survived their time and are no longer current. "Līgavām should be careful with fashion trends. Flower crowns were delightful when they came out, but now, when more than five years have passed, it's time to move on," assured wedding agencies VLD Events founders.

Dream catchers only if they describe the couple themselves

Rustic-boho style weddings are definitely losing their relevance. Experts around the world emphasize that such elements such as dream catchers, feathers, arrows and other elements would currently be allowed in weddings only in cases where they really describe the particular pair. Otherwise, it's kind of a cliché.

For sneakers and a wedding dress - no

Celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss says that casual shoes, sneakers and cowboy boots with exquisite wedding dresses are something that should be avoided in the future. Although in a sense such a set is even glamorous, but there are many other ways to impress your guests and show off the creativity of your personality.
