However, there are several aspects to consider when planning a wedding on a yacht.

1. First of all, if a couple wants to say their vows during a trip in open waters, then it will usually be possible to accommodate about 12 people on it. Therefore, it will not be possible to invite a large number of people. However, if the wedding is held on a yacht in the harbor, then the situation is completely different - depending on the size of the particular yacht, it will be able to accommodate 30, 50 or even 100 guests, so this wedding concept will be much more suitable for large weddings.
2. "If the couple still wants to say their vows on the open sea during a trip, then there is also the option that the wedding ceremony takes place only in the presence of the closest people and witnesses, while after the ceremony the yacht returns to the port and the celebration follows with the rest of the invited guests," advises the wedding organizer.

No high heels and red wine

One more thing that should be clarified from the owner of the chosen yacht is whether it is possible to climb on board with shoes. Wedding planner Nadia Fry points out that many yachts don't allow this, especially high-heeled or dark-colored shoes, which can damage the yacht's deck.

Each yacht has its own rules of internal order, which may specify both the fact that it is not allowed to use red wine or red-colored juices and drinks, and what are the safety measures if the yacht goes out into open waters under the command of the captain.

Also, one of the practical questions that young couples often ask is what to do if the dream of a wedding on a yacht can be overshadowed by the reality of seasickness. There is a solution to this situation as well, as both the couple themselves and their guests can be provided with medication or special bracelets that help prevent the symptoms of seasickness.

For larger or smaller wedding anniversaries

A great place for a wedding on a yacht will definitely be the city in the south-east of France - Cannes. A full-service wedding on a yacht in this location could cost from 10,000 euros, depending on the size of the specific yacht.

Nadia Fry recommends that weddings in this region be held in spring or autumn, when the weather is still pleasant, but the prices of services are not so high and the influx of tourists is much less.
