The designer of wedding dresses and evening dresses, popular with brides, Inta Grase does her work from the heart - she is not only the author of the dress designs, but takes full responsibility for the dresses she makes: Inta does not hire seamstresses and does everything herself - starting from the stylistic and design sketch of the bride's image, ending with the sewing of the dress and the processing of details up to the last bead.

How long before the wedding do you have to go to the designer so that the dress can be created on time and without stress?

When the wedding date is known, you can start thinking about the dress. An individual dress order, which includes design development, fabric purchase, modeling, sewing, processing and two holdings, takes 1-2 months on average.

How important are current trends in your work? Do brides follow trends more or their gut feeling?

For me, the personality of the bride is always in fashion, not the uniform trends that dominate salons. The inner feelings of brides tend to be quite uncertain, because it is not just a dress, but a dream in which you want to put everything you like.

What materials for wedding dresses are currently more relevant? Is the choice in favor of design or convenience?

The choice of materials is determined by the design of the dress. For a structured silhouette, it is better to choose satin or taffeta. Soft crepe will be more suitable for draping, lace for a romantic mood, and chiffon and tulle for airy lightness. The design of the dress is both value and convenience.

Do you also help with accessory recommendations?

I always create the image of the bride, not just sew the dress, so I recommend shoes, jewelry and other accessories matching the style of the dress. I also recommend the desired hairstyle and give contacts of make-up artists, florists and wedding photographers tested by professional experience.

What is your favorite part of the process of making a wedding dress?

The bride's joy when she sees her dress in the first fitting, and the happy eyes when she sees herself in the mirror in a ready-made dress. I fall in love with every dress I create because I love what I do.

How is the implementation of an individual order?

We start with a meeting in person or with virtual communication, where we find out how you want to feel and look at your wedding - royally luxurious, like a romantic princess, like a stylish boho girl or like a charming goddess. Maybe you prefer laconic minimalism or are you ready to be extravagantly extraordinary?

Find pictures of the vision of the wedding dress - the silhouette of the dress that you like, a detail that you like, etc. – so that I can see and feel your train of thought and understand what is better to offer.

If you are not sure about what fits and what doesn't, I offer you to try on my ready-made dresses to understand which silhouette compliments your height, which tonality of white color suits your skin tone, and other nuances.

Then we agree on the budget allocated for the dress - an individual order dress requires 80-150 hours of my work (depending on the design and material specifications). Plus the cost of materials. In general, you should expect +/- 1000 euros.

A more economical option is a ready-made original design dress from my collections (price range 450 - 650 euros). Each collection dress is only in one copy and size. Available size range: 34. - 42.

Once we have agreed on the budget allocated for the dress, we can buy fabrics matching the design of the dress (we do it together or I find everything I need myself).

When the fabrics are bought, your order is placed in my work schedule and we agree on the date by which you want to receive the finished dress.

One month before this date is the first fitting, where we specify the length of the dress and other nuances. The second fitting is after two weeks. I model each dress on a mannequin adjusted to the client's individual measurements, so the time required for fitting is minimal.

Since I work alone and do not hire seamstresses, I can realize a limited number of orders during the season. Usually, my work schedule for the summer/autumn season is already filled in March/April, so it is often too late to apply for a summer wedding in May.

But - since I plan the maximum number of working hours for each dress, I often have a "window" for another dress. This means - if the wedding is in August and you apply to me in June - it is quite possible that I will be able to accept your order.
