The ancient post and telegraph building of Valmiera, on Diakonāta Street, is one of the grandest buildings in Valmiera that has survived to this day. In 2021, the Akustikas team found a home in a part of the building, which, combining its experience and professional knowledge acquired over the years, has conjured up a warm place where you can leisurely enjoy a family atmosphere, world flavors, exhibitions and musical performances. Our rooms are spacious and everyone will find a suitable place to spend time comfortably.

FOOD OFFER

To promote sustainable and responsible gastronomy, we support local producers. Most of the ingredients used in the dishes come from farms in the Valmiera region. Akustika continues to preserve its culinary heritage, offering traditional Latvian dishes on the menu. A simple and understandable selection of dishes has also been created for little gourmets.

We change the menu twice a year and include seasonally grown organic produce from the garden. We have a versatile selection of wines, cocktails and other drinks that will not leave indifferent even the most sophisticated drink connoisseurs. For the second year in a row, the acoustic menu has been praised by Michelin Guide critics, including our restaurant in the Michelin Guide. Among them, the restaurant's offer is also highly rated in the most prestigious Falstaff Restaurant Guide Latvia 2024 of the German-speaking countries - Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Similarly, the wine and drinks offer has been recognized by the "Baltic Wine and Drinks" jury for the second year.

The restaurant is located in the very center of Valmiera, on Diakonāta Street, which is a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a convenient, free parking lot next to the restaurant.

ACOUSTIC rooms - for your holidays

Our rooms are spacious and everyone will find a suitable place for them to spend time comfortably or to celebrate their holidays. In addition to the restaurant hall, there is also a smaller living room for a more intimate atmosphere, a large hall on the second floor for larger private events and concerts, a children's playroom, as well as a customized cigar room for leisurely enjoying drinks and cigars. Everyone is welcome in the acoustics, because history and modern day meet here.

Other offers

Acoustics also includes a large part of cultural life in Valmiera. In the summer season, in the terrace area, favorite local musicians visit us every Saturday with beautiful concerts, while in the autumn and winter season, we organize musical evenings indoors, with a specially designed menu for each event, which can also be organized for all of us, during individual events. We also have excellent cooperation with leading sommeliers and bartenders, whom we attract to various celebrations to complement the atmosphere of the events.
