Wedding photographer Miks Šēls says that currently, during the photography season, most people who plan to celebrate a wedding in Latvia try not to cancel it or postpone it to next year.

For those who move, the photographer advises to "bump" both the celebration places and the photographers in time, because there is a possibility that "next year will be a seven-day year".

As a recommendation, when preparing for the photo session, take into account the current covid situation and avoid close contact in closed spaces. However, you should not immediately abandon the celebration, but look for "B" options. It is possible to change the photo session location, outdoors, time and other options. Also, a lot of couples are currently planning to implement it. It would be important to prepare a moodboard , to compile a list of people with whom it is very important to take photos and other special things, so that the photographer can act quickly in the flow of events.
