SATURATED AUTUMN WEDDING

SATURATED AUTUMN WEDDING

Autumn is not only a time of harvest, abundance of nature and all saturated tones. Fall, just like any other season, is also about love and celebrating it. However, to make everything even more beautiful as planned, there are suggestions that can be useful when planning a fall wedding.

Motivation – rested guests

The motivation to get married in autumn can be different. It can be both the desire to be different and the practical possibility of hiring all the service providers that the couple wants, and it will be much easier to do it than in the summer season. Likewise, often the motivation of couples is rested guests.

It cannot be denied that summer is usually full of various events, festivals, vacation time and other weddings and celebrations, so couples, wanting their guests to come to their wedding happy and relaxed, decide to get married in the fall season. But perhaps a couple's decision is quite simply explained - autumn is their favorite season.

TOP shade – burgundy pink

Most often, for autumn weddings, couples choose intense jewel tones - emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, classic gold. Plum and eggplant tones combined with cream or light pink tones look especially effective against the background of autumnal nature. Fuchsia color accents will also successfully complement autumn moods. Wedding decorator Iluta Piternika / MintDeco indicates that the burgundy pink tone is definitely the most current color for autumn.

"In autumn weddings, it is typical to use all the gifts offered by nature.

  • For example, dahlias and asters, due to their rich shades, have experienced a bright "rebirth" in recent years both in decorations and in bridal bouquets.
  • Also, brides want other natural gifts, such as grapes, to be integrated into the decorations," observed Iluta.
  • Likewise, wedding celebration tables are becoming more and more personalized - they are unimaginable without seasonal dishes.

The autumn theme will be colored, for example:

  1. pumpkin dishes (pumpkin soup, mushroom soups, zucchini and eggplant dishes, etc.);
  2. desserts from the bounty of autumn (apple cake, baked apples and pears, plum soup and, yes, even mushrooms);
  3. Cider, apple juice, cranberry juice will dominate the drinks.

Food and drinks according to the season will complement the special atmosphere of the season both at the common table and at the current food and drink "stations", which are gradually taking over the role of sweets tables. In cooler weather, guests will be pleasantly surprised by the hot drinks table when they arrive at the venue.

Guests can be warmed with:

  • for herbal teas, hot chocolate;
  • cocoa, blackcurrant and ginger drink;
  • for mulled wine, warm cocktails.

WHERE to get married in autumn?

Undoubtedly, one of the most important questions to ask if you want to get married in the fall - where will the wedding ceremony and celebration take place? Iluta Piternika recommends finding a balance between the young couple's dream and ambitions and comfort.

If your dream has always been to get married in the open air, then it is certainly possible to realize it, but you have to expect much more challenges than, for example, in the summer.

The challenge in this case will not be only rain, but long-lasting wet grass, humidity, getting to the ceremony site and other conditions. "I always ask the couple if they are prepared that they and their guests might experience some discomfort. If it rains, it is no longer summer rain, but autumn rain, so in much wetter weather.

If the ceremony will take place outside, then you need to understand at what point to put the chairs for the guests so that they do not get wet. It should also be taken into account that perhaps not all furniture renters will agree that their props are in moisture for a long time.

Sometimes, because of their ambitions, brides don't even think about how they will feel and look, that is, they will probably have to wear a warmer jacket over the beautiful dress, but the perfectly straightened hair could also get frizzy in the humidity," says Iluta.

To create not only brightness, but also warmth and mood

Iluta indicates that when weddings are held in autumn, couples more often decide to organize both the ceremony and the celebration indoors. Recently, the desire of couples to get married in the church has "revived" more and more, and autumn is definitely a suitable time of year for this. "Of course, if the wedding ceremony takes place in a church, you should think about where the first champagne toast will be organized afterwards. In the summer, it often takes place outside at the church, but in the fall, you should find an indoor space in time - maybe there is a room in the church or a place nearby where it could be organized," advises Iluta. There are also couples who decide to organize the ceremony and celebration in one place - it is easier to find such places in Riga, more difficult in the regions.

But it is recommended to choose a place of celebration in autumn with large windows - the picturesque nature will become the most beautiful decoration of your wedding.

"It should be taken into account that autumn is the time when it also gets dark faster, so it is necessary to use more candles and strings of lamps in the decorations, so that not only light, but also warmth and mood enter the room," advises Iluta.

Wedding photo session - outdoors

Even if the wedding ceremony and celebrations take place indoors, you should definitely not abandon the idea of organizing a photo session outside. The splendor of autumn will be what makes the photos special. All you have to do is bring suitable shoes and transparent umbrellas in case of rain and follow the photographer's advice for beautiful wedding pictures.

"Another suggestion for couples, if the wedding is held in the autumn season and on a working day - the traffic intensity will be much higher at this time than in the summer - this must be taken into account when making a daily plan," advises Iluta Piternika.
