After long and exciting artistic experiments, musician Katrīna Gupalo releases her self-composed song "Orhideja" from the upcoming album and invites her listeners to solo concerts in Riga and Kocēni in January. The two compositions released this winter - "Orchideja" and "Scarlett Challenger" mark a new stage in the musician's work - honest and open as a confession, elegant and eclectic as "Art Deco", bold and feminine.

The song "Orchideja" balances between melancholy and a spark of optimism. It tells about the daily routine, which can seem gray, full of difficulties, contrasting the inner strength and light of a person, as well as the support of a loved one, who gives refuge in the monotonous reality and gives hope for a better future. Initially, the song was created as a romantic ballad, but "Orhideja" flourished in an energetic version and in a pop-rock arrangement in the recording studio of music producer Edwolf or Edgars Vilcāns.

The artist's acoustic concerts will take place on January 9 in Riga, at the Kaif Art and Cinema Entertainment House, while on January 23, Katrīna will perform at the Kocēni Culture House. The concert program will include Katrina's own songs, including "Orhideja", as well as the most beautiful love songs in French, Ukrainian and Italian languages.
