LĪGAVĀM brand was born only 2 years ago, thanks to Ivetas Rikmanes's initiative, ideas and Jānis Līviņš's technical partner support. A wedding portal for a modern bride was born, which has already turned into a TOP wedding media.
during these two years we have created unique products and services:
- a wedding portal that transforms into a bride's lifestyle portal;
- the only wedding book magazine in Latvia, 272 pages thick;
- unique wedding planner for the bride in cooperation with Guntas Skalbergs ;
- is the only wedding fashion show in Latvia, which takes place twice a year in grandiose locations;
- wedding exhibitions that bring together the best professionals in the wedding industry
For wedding media LĪGAVĀM, the year 2017 was truly rich with many events, projects and new cooperation partners.
We want to look back on the past year and everything we have experienced during this year.
On Valentine's Day, in cooperation with My print, we offered a unique opportunity to say thank you to love and send a love postcard (handwritten) to your loved one.
Choosing a heart-pleasing postcard created by wedding photographer Miks šelz and with a beautiful vintage pen (in cooperation with Manilla ) write a letter to your loved one, which will reach the addressee directly on Love Day 14.02.17. By sending a love letter, everyone participated in the lottery, where there was a chance to win the couple game "Journey to Love" and a 3-course dinner worth 100 euros in the city's most romantic restaurant Grand Palace Hotel , enjoying the charming atmosphere of vocals and piano provided by Ivo Grīsniņš Grīslis.

EVENT OF THE WEDDING YEAR - EVENT "WEDDING HOLIDAYS"
2 days - April 8 and 9 Melngalvju namā had the opportunity for newlyweds, wedding organizers, wedding guests to visit professionally organized events with the aim of obtaining information and inspiration for the realization of their wedding.
In another wedding exhibition, the best wedding service providers displayed their wedding products/services in one place in an original way. Wedding venues, wedding dresses, wedding photographers, videographers, wedding invitations, banquets, gifts, wedding decorators and florists, wedding rings and jewelry! During the exhibition, everyone had the opportunity to buy the new spring/summer issue of LĪGAVĀM wedding magazine, which was presented with two covers, as well as a novelty - LĪGAVĀM wedding planner and wedding calendar!
Visitors were treated to delicious cocktails and Magnum ice cream, creating a spring mood! Throughout the day, live music was performed by professional musicians - Miks Dukurs, The Originalas, Gints Smukais, allowing you to feel the true festive mood!
On the other hand, in the evening, the new spring/summer 2017 issue of LĪGAVĀM wedding magazine was launched with a high-quality WEDDING FASHION SHOW Melngalvju namā!
Brides-to-be saw the newest and never-before-seen wedding dress collections in one place - 10 TOP wedding dress brands, 100 dresses, fabulous laces, exquisite fabrics, head ornaments, luxurious underwear and entertaining surprises - all this at a wedding fashion show in the luxurious hall of the Black-headed House. - Katya Katya Shehurina 6. Septembris, wedding salon Amelia - wedding dress design studio Agnese Eidukas Dolce Cuore Bridal Gallery Liina Stein Fashion Amoralle , Evita Vilde Onzule jewelry ImperialLace Phase Eight Dress4You , SLOW. The most gorgeous dress of each brand was presented by a well-known lady! The wedding fashion show was led by the charming Renārs Zeltiņš !
After a fantastically spent first day of the "Wedding Holiday", the "Exquisite Bridal Breakfast" followed for all brides-to-be and existing brides, as well as their bridesmaids and girlfriends.
Breakfast took place in a wonderful Sunday morning atmosphere at the Entresol restaurant . Breakfast participants not only enjoyed the culinary wonders of the restaurant's chef Raimonds Sommers, but also got valuable information from several speakers - wedding planning tricks were revealed by the creative director of the wedding agency Sparkling Dagnia Libane; wedding photographer Inta Lankovska gave advice on wedding photography and beautiful pictures; decorator Baiba Prindule-Rence shared both her personal experience and gave real recommendations on how to achieve her wedding style, while chef Raimonds Sommers told what must be taken into account when choosing catering service providers, while at the climax of the event Inin Nini ( Moonlight Tribe ) shared with the brides how to discover their femininity and how to ask themselves the big questions of life, including why we want to get married.
Half a year later, in the newly opened 5-star hotel "Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga" on November 12, TOP wedding media LĪGAVĀM had arranged a wide program throughout the day, during which both an exquisite wedding exhibition and market took place, as well as various lectures by industry professionals, as well as 3. LĪGAVĀM wedding fashion show, which is the only event of its kind in Latvia. The new 3rd issue of LĪGAVĀM book magazine was also presented - full of inspiration and ideas.
The visitors of the grandiose LĪGAVĀM fashion show had the opportunity to see Latvian and foreign TOP wedding salons and designer wedding dresses and evening dresses. the show was attended by a special guest from the French brand Paolo Corona Paris , participated in Paris Fashion Week , the beautiful dresses graced the covers of Vogue and Brides magazine , a guest from the Norwegian brand Sadoni and brand KV Couture / Kristina Viirpalu from Estonia, as well as Latvian wedding fashion designers and brands were widely represented - KATYA KATYA , Milla Nova, Rara Avis - wedding gallery Myosotis , Modeca Dutch Designe / 6.Septembris , Agnese Eiduka, Amelia , EFL Fashion, Zane Zaharova , Dinari Couture , Chiffon , Alona Mjalika, Ieva Adamsone, 9 months, Wilde Handmade Rotas , Brigitta Stroda jewelry , Baltman. Enjoying an artistic program with the participation of a singer from Great Britain, more than 100 wedding dresses were presented. The event was hosted by actor Gints Andjan.
It has already become a tradition for persons recognizable in the society to participate in the wedding fashion show, presenting each fashion designer.
The main prize - a wedding dress worth 1500eur from the brand Katya Katya was won by Vinita Vilcāne, congratulations!
LĪGAVĀM had provided not only a high-class fashion show, but also a wedding exhibition where the best and most professional wedding service providers gathered. In one of Latvia's TOP restaurants - Library No. 1. for six hours, every visitor to the exhibition had the opportunity to taste various delicacies, talk and ask their questions to wedding organizers, look at bridal dresses and even learn about possible honeymoon destinations. On the other hand, one lucky visitor of the exhibition - Anna Budreiko won a great prize - a wedding box from the wedding organizers Heaven 67 , which will provide wedding services worth 5000 EUR!

- At the beginning of the year, the only online wedding store in Latvia will be implemented - www.ligavam.lv;
- LĪGAVĀM will open the only "WEDDING CENTER" in Latvia (in the center of Riga), where you can buy various wedding products in one place, and this will also be a unique place where newlyweds can meet wedding service providers;
- Editor-in-Chief Iveta Rikmane will provide advice to newlyweds to facilitate the wedding planning process and indicate how to choose the most appropriate wedding service providers (starting with wedding planners, photographers, decorators, etc.), taking into account the couple's budget and wedding theme;
- The only wedding catalog in Latvia will be published, which will gather the best professionals in the field of weddings divided by service segments;
- At the beginning of the year, any wedding service provider will be able to apply for the "WEDDING OF THE YEAR AWARD", which will be implemented in Latvia for the first time in the month of March. Award ceremony in gratitude to Ms. "Ziemeļblāzma" for her professional work in promoting the development of the wedding industry;
- The 4th WEDDING BOOK MAGAZINE and a unique international WEDDING FASHION SHOW with an unprecedented concept and other important wedding events will be launched in April.
