Evita and Pēteris had been together for more than 11 years before saying goodbye to each other, so naturally, that the friends and relatives of both have been waiting for the two to get married for a long time. In wedding invitations, the first sentence was “Wedding there will be a party", because that was exactly the vision of both of them for the wedding - lots of jokes, laughter, tears of joy and positive emotion, excluding the usual traditions.

The young couple wanted to create a memorable time together for their friends a pleasure to remember. One of the biggest reasons to say goodbye to each other after 11 years of living together, was finding the right wedding venue. "In August 2018, we saw a new place Svētku Pils , near Riga. We went, took a look and immediately liked it was clear that this was the place where we wanted to host our wedding party.

But in general, if someone would let us, we would get married in some Statoil fuel at the gas station, because that's where we met and saw each other.
This would be very typical for us, but since Statoil has become Circle K , then I had to think of other options. Although our wedding could not take place at Statoil, our carriers did had arranged for a special surprise. When the guests were at the tables, the presenters made their first toast, and during the speech the waiters brought coffee to all the guests on trays in Statoil cups with Statoil logo and brand colors. That was a thrilling moment. As the presenters mentioned, it was difficult to organize this, because Circle K in the marketing part there were no more ready-made cups, no logo, nothing from the old brand. The conductors had made the small cardboard cups themselves, printed, glued," says Evita.

A little more than 40 guests were present at the wedding of Evita and Peter. The young couple decided to to invite the closest friends and relatives to the wedding - people with whom they spend their daily lives, those with whom they laugh until they cry and have been connected for years.

"When planning our wedding, our main condition was - if something doesn't work out as expected, then we certainly won't complain about it. We were determined that nothing should happen to us ruin this day. 15 minutes before the ceremony, the strong wind knocked down the decorations of the ceremony place, which pa we saw the window. It was a matter of minutes when our wedding team were there and restored what they could, recreated what was needed," recalls the young couple.

One of the most gorgeous elements in both weddings was Evita's wedding dress. Since Evita and Pēteris runs the lace shop Lace To Love , so all the guests already expected that the bride's dress would be made of lace. However, Evita wanted to create a dress that would stand out, not as usual.

“My wedding dress was the biggest challenge for our company team. Not only lace is relevant, but also tulle. It always goes hand in hand with lace. I always am loved bright colors, so I chose bright purple and pink shades for my wedding dress, which made a tasteful color transition.
The wedding dress was made in two parts: a luxurious skirt that used almost 50 meters of tulle fabric and a mermaid-type dress with an airy tulle hem, which the guests saw after the first dance. A white carpet was laid at the ceremony site. The color was chosen so that when I appeared, the dress would stand out in splendor. The surprise was successful and even more so, because none of the guests expected anything like that. We were very attentive in the center," says Evita.

Evita and Pēteris advise other couples to entrust wedding planning to professionals, because it is this that gives confidence that even if something does not go as planned, they will be the ones who can do it all reorganize in such a way that no one will even suspect anything.

"It is also important to choose ushers or assistants in wedding planning who are good know the young couple because there are things we shouldn't have known but in our case the ushers were the ones who could to make a decision whether we will like the specific activity or not," said Evita and Pēteris.
