Even though summer is considered to be the time for weddings and not a single weekend goes by in July, after which the first "unofficial" photos of the wedding day taken by guests do not appear on your Facebook page, weddings in other seasons are no less beautiful. The traditional assumption that summer is the most suitable weather for weddings is no longer a strong argument. As this summer proved, July is now as unpredictable as March or October. Those who had relied on nature's favor in July, without preparing for colder, rainier or windier weather, which spring or autumn couples will most likely have thought of first of all, may be particularly disappointed. Well, when getting married in our country, the season does not matter - the couple must be prepared that spring can come in any month and on any date or autumn can suddenly appear. Nature and the weather are neither predictable nor controllable in any way, but the winner will be the one who accepts, rejoices and uses any weather to his advantage - whether it's snowing or raining!
It is said that true romantics get married in spring and autumn. It probably is, because at these times of the year, the surrounding energy is something unique and rationally inexplicable.
Weddings in spring and autumn can also be viewed symbolically - spring will suit a still young, flourishing love, a couple who exchange rings in the beautiful stage of falling in love, when the whole future life seems like one single spring. Autumn, on the other hand, will denote a love that has already matured, that has been experienced and strengthened by various daily hardships - when the first frenzy has subsided and instead of uncontrollable passion, a clear awareness of a common future has come. Wedding in winter? No less special and romantic. In winter, the brave and self-confident get married, who are ready to climb mountains together in spite of everything - including any test prepared by nature.
The first big benefit of getting married in the off-season is the opportunity to save. Here, however, it should be taken into account that the term "season" has already been extended, and May and September will most often be added to the season in terms of prices. In the off-season, prices will be lower for almost all wedding items and, above all, for celebration venues, event managers and wedding agency services. The principle is simple - anyone working in the wedding sector would rather offer a discount than be out of a job at all. Even if the off-season prices are not mentioned in the official price offer, it is worth asking what discounts they are ready to offer you.
The only item where prices go up in the off-season is flowers. However, even then it is possible to find a wide variety of solutions, for example, in winter and late autumn, you can use the currently very relevant decorations offered by nature - greens, cones, fir branches, colorful tree leaves, etc. When organizing a wedding in winter, it is better to avoid the time of corporate events, which start already at the beginning of December and usually last until mid-January.
The sales period after Christmas is also a great opportunity to buy wedding essentials at great discounts. During this time, there will be very good deals on decorations, string lights, candles, accessories, alcohol (especially champagne and mulled wine). You will also be able to buy evening dresses, for example, dresses for bridesmaids, for a cheaper price.
Summer is not only the time for vacations and trips, but also the season with the most festivals, events, garden parties, parties and celebrations of life in general. This is, of course, inextricably linked to higher costs (but, as you know, salaries are unfortunately not increased for the summer period). By organizing a wedding in a "non-traditional time", you can be sure that your big day will not fall into one big whirlwind of events, but will become a joyful event for relatives and friends in a time that is relatively calmer than summer.
In the dark time of the year, when it is typical for us to curl up under the blanket and poke our nose out of it less, the wedding will be a great opportunity for everyone to make their everyday life more glamorous, to get messy and party until the morning, also in the cold time of the year, when we often need a special reason to go out of the house.
is especially suited to deep jewel tones – emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue. Instead of gold color, we recommend using the very current copper shade ("copper") this fall, which is less flashy than gold. Plum and eggplant tones combined with cream or light pink tones look especially effective against the background of autumnal nature. Fuchsia color accents will also successfully complement autumn moods.
weddings use a lot of pastel colors, which, without a doubt, are very suitable for this fragile time of the year. However, in order to avoid clichéd color combinations, we recommend "reviving" pastel shades with bright, juicy color accents. All natural shades of green will suit a spring wedding - from muted olive green to lively salad green. On the other hand, mint green will look good together with light pink and orange accents. Blue tones in various combinations will also be very suitable for spring. A playful combination of aquamarine blue with yellow will suit a bright and youthful wedding.
weddings, you should be careful about using red and green together, unless the theme is a Christmas wedding. Both colors separately combined with white or other colors will fit perfectly in winter. For a gentle wedding, silver and white will be suitable, as well as the special combination of ivory and champagne tones. In an expressive winter wedding, lilac with gold looks great, conjuring a really luxurious, royal mood, as well as the new trend of using the colors of both precious metals - gold and silver, which were not mixed together before. On the other hand, for a calmer, wintry mood, you can choose chocolate brown with cream color or dark blue with gray tones. Dark green with white with small accents of cranberry red will also look harmonious in winter.
