WHAT CAN THE BRIDE AND GROOM EAT THE WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING?

Every bride wants to look and feel great on her wedding day, not feel overly stressed and in her best mood. Often couples are so focused on planning their wedding day and how they will look on their wedding day that they forget to think about what they eat before and on their wedding day. After all, what should a bride eat to look good, not bloated and full of energy on her wedding day?

Do not skip meals and drink a lot of water

One of the most common mistakes made by young couples is irregular meals in the week before the wedding and not drinking enough water.

Sometimes young couples let stress get the better of them, so a balanced diet and regular meals are the last thing on their minds, but anxiety and a long to-do list should not be a reason for a bride and groom not to pay enough attention to their nutrition and well-being before the wedding.

That is why it is recommended to carry a bottle of water with you everywhere a week before the wedding and to have a drink every now and then, and also, since in the week before the wedding there are likely to be various meetings, welcoming guests at the airport and finishing the last tasks, it is best to keep some snacks rich in vitamins and nutrients in your bag for such occasions, which you can eat when you are hungry.

Moisturized skin is one of the secrets of healthy and glowing skin, so it is important to drink enough fluids. If water is not the bride and groom's favorite drink, then you can approach it creatively by adding seasonal berries, fruits and mint to the water.

Nutrient-rich food

In the week before the wedding (just like during the entire pre-wedding period), you should eat nutritious food - so that you get both antioxidants, good fats, and fibers. All this will contribute to healthy and clean skin, as well as a good feeling of well-being.

Good fats also contribute to healthy-looking hair and that special shine that is so necessary on the wedding day. Good fats can be found, for example, in products such as olives, avocados and fish (which, by the way, also contain omega-3, which will help the body fight stress). The day before and preferably a week before the wedding, you should not eat unknown, previously untasted and exotic things, in order to avoid that the body might react in a peculiar way.

On the night before the wedding, you can eat, for example, grilled meat or fish, stewed vegetables or brown rice, which together provide enough nutrients and are usually processed well in the body. Also, for the breakfast of the wedding day, you should not get carried away with snacks or things that the new couple is not used to - it is best to follow your daily breakfast eating routine, choosing the same as usual.

On the morning of the wedding day, you should eat products that will stabilize the blood sugar level and not cause a feeling of flatulence. You can, for example, eat a banana and yogurt, drink a fruit smoothie or order scrambled eggs and toast. Although champagne in the hands of the bride on the morning of the wedding certainly does not look bad in the photos, alcohol should be avoided on the morning of the wedding, especially before meals or if the couple cannot tolerate it.

The Law of Five Ingredients

In order to be sure that after measuring the last dress, it will not be too big or too small on the wedding day, you can follow the rule of five food ingredients, which means that you cannot eat more than five different ingredients at each meal (oil and spices do not count). In this way, the body is not burdened with too complex meals. Sometimes, even if all the ingredients are healthy and good, such a load can be too much for the body.

Two minute rule

Another slightly creative, but at the same time disciplined way to avoid gaining weight before the wedding is the two-minute rule. It's no secret that under the influence of great stress and excitement, there are people who eat more than they should, especially choosing unhealthy food, sweets and fast food. The two-minute rule helps us understand whether, for example, half a donut left over at work is really what we need.

As soon as the thought of eating something unhealthy again enters your mind, you should give yourself two minutes. If after this time you still want to eat what you want, then you don't have to force yourself not to do it, but most often your thoughts will have already wandered somewhere else and the desire for unhealthy snacks has already disappeared.
