Art museum Zuzeum is a place to meet and get to know the contemporary art of Latvia and the world.

Art museum Zuzeum was founded in 2020 by art collector and philanthropist Jānis Zuzāns. The art museum is located in a former cork factory, designed and built in 1910 by the architect and engineer Edmund von Trompowski, and covers an area of more than 1,250 square meters. Zuzeum is a place for cultural exchange that hosts exhibitions, public and rental events. Zuzeum offers an unforgettable experience and provides modern facilities with excellent service in an artistic environment. The architecture of the Art Museum Zuzeum combines art from the Zuzāni collection together with a modern and innovative environment, creating a special atmosphere for your wedding celebration!

Whether it is a corporate event, a wedding celebration, a birthday or any other important event - we will adapt to your needs. Our rooms are suitable for both small events with 30 to 150 guests and large celebrations from 300 to 1000 guests. In addition to renting premises, we also offer catering services to customers.

Living room

For wedding celebrations, we offer a Living room space that can accommodate up to 80 people in a seated format or up to 40 people in an informal setting. The area of the room is 145.5 m². The living room creates a relaxed, cozy atmosphere in which to meet and be together. The space can be separated from the public area of the art museum, it is complemented by designer furniture and works of art from the Zuzān collection.

Zuzeum 1st floor

For celebrations with a larger number of people, we also offer the spacious 1st floor of Zuzeum with a capacity of up to 300 people. The area of the room is 438.6 m². The space includes a reception area and cloakroom, a cafe area and a living room. Similar to the Living Room space, the 1st floor is also complemented with artworks from the Zuzāni collection and designer furniture, creating a special atmosphere for your event. When renting the 1st floor, we offer Zuzeum bar services with professional bartenders, a wide range of drinks and the necessary equipment.

Roof terrace

In the warm months, the offer also includes a roof terrace. The roof terrace of Zuzeum is a great place to hold an event under the open sky with a view of industrial Riga and picturesque sunsets. The total area of the terrace is 283.6 m², providing space for up to 300 guests, with 40 seats. When renting a terrace, we offer Zuzeum bar services with professional bartenders, a wide range of drinks and the necessary equipment.

Large and small exhibition hall

Since the opening of the art center Zuzeum in 2020, the exhibition halls have been available for rental events a couple of times. When these rooms are resting and new expositions are not being set up, the Big and Small exhibition halls are ready to receive guests.

The area of the large exhibition hall – 974.4 m², capacity – up to 1000 persons.
The area of the small exhibition hall – 230.8 m², capacity – up to 200 persons.

Construction site

A quiet courtyard in the city center where you can feel the magic of an urban garden. Suitable for larger outdoor events (500-1000 people), movie nights and concerts. The courtyard has a green lawn, available electricity, water, evening lighting, bar. During the movie screening season (July - September), it is possible to agree on the use of the screen and projector, as well as advertising options before the movie screenings.

Sculpture Garden and Greenhouse

The Sculpture Garden is an experimental outdoor space that combines contemporary art and an informal environment, creating a special atmosphere for various events - from product presentations and performances to private celebrations. Its area is 541.22 m², with a capacity of up to 300 guests.

Siltumnīca, on the other hand, is ideal for smaller-scale celebrations, offering an intimate atmosphere for up to 15 people in an area of 41.9 m².

Exhibition tour and gifts from Zuzeum Shop

As a special touch, we offer newlyweds and guests the opportunity to go on an exhibition tour, which will give the celebration a unique and inspiring accent. It is also possible to buy gift cards from us, which allow you to come back and enjoy the exhibitions at any time convenient for you. The Zuzeum store is open during the working hours of the art museum, where you can find various art-related gifts.

The reservation should be made at least three weeks in advance to ensure availability and to plan all the details of the event. The minimum rental time is two hours.
