The long speeches of the ushers, continuously inviting the wedding guests to make a toast, the bride's father retelling the family history and, of course, that the groom's parents also want to mention all their relatives. No guest with functioning ears would want to be next to a throbbing DJ during a wedding meal for the speaker. And the opposite is also true: guests won't feel involved if they can't see the dance floor or are too far away, to hear music and speech.
