In the 21st century, when it is so very difficult to shock, because there is so much of everything and everything has already been seen, you can still find areas that are still subject to standards. Standards that arose in the ancient past and were formed based on the virtues of that time. Black wedding. Even though it is already a current issue in the world, brides in Latvia dare to color their day in a different range of colors a little more lazily. The main trend for weddings right now is boho and rustic , but our team wanted to expand the vision of brides-to-be,

we wanted to encourage to look for the different, to show that everything can be designed differently and that the strange and unusual is also very beautiful.

The main author of the idea, the photographer, says: "At the end of the season, after ten weddings, there was such a void. As if all the weddings were beautiful, all the couples were happy, the environment was decorated, everything was thought of, but... all the same, ideas taken from Pinterest and implemented in life. I'm not saying it's bad, I just wanted something more. I'll create something, something atypical, different from all the wedding photoshoots. I had a similar idea for a photoshoot in the beginning of spring, but the decoration, the flowers, the environment - all this was appropriate for autumn. But I slowly developed this idea in my mind, until one day I realized that I didn't want to wait any longer and I had to take action through Facebook ( The festive fairy – table decoration and bouquet) and wedding dress designers and I was so happy that we were all on the same page and wanted to create something unconventional! Then we were joined by CrownMe , cake maker Inga Kalniņa and even a perfectly matched bowtie for the groom from KiviBowTie It was a photographer's dream! Everything is so unusual and the more unusual and the more interesting it is for the photographer!

I wish couples wouldn't be afraid of other people's opinions and on their wedding day would look the way they want and do what their hearts desire, not what they should do! Then there will be love and happiness in the couple's eyes, you will be able to see it in their rays and photos!"

I also had the idea of a black wedding dress in my head for some time. I even looked for a brave bride with the help of Facebook , unfortunately unsuccessfully, so I decided to respond to the photographer's invitation to join the team and create a dress especially for the project. We were so much on the same page, everything was organized so easily. I guess we were all thirsty and wanted to express our creativity.

If we look at the meaning of black color, then it is a strong, protective and authoritative color. Symbolizes sophistication, sexuality and elegance. But a white wedding dress symbolizes purity, chastity and innocence. Nowadays, these virtues have changed a lot, so the use of a veil at a wedding is no longer of such importance. Although very few brides choose the traditional veil, a white wedding dress is trend no. 1. This season, I am happy to observe among my clients the desire to include color in the outfit, slightly soft pastel shades - gray, soft pink, light blue, flesh tone or peach. As a wedding dress designer, it is very important for me to step out of the box and feel that my clients trust and allow me to do so. And why not - if the wedding is in autumn or winter, choose a rich burgundy dress or black? Tell me, are there so many other ways to wear such a dress? But I will say that there are many other ways to wear a white dress. I'm all about tearing down the frames.

In conclusion, we want to encourage brides - be original, dare!
