Ilze and Oskars are a couple who said their vows to each other this fall, both being of mature age. Ilze and Oskars celebrated their wedding in both exotic Cyprus and Latvia this autumn. Although initially both had decided to organize a wedding only for themselves, without the presence of their closest people, but now both are glad that this plan of theirs failed. Historical evidence also shows that the colors of wedding dresses were different - red, black, blue. Since I knew that our wedding location would be white rocks, I wanted a contrast to the white, so I ended up with the dark blue color. It is the favorite color of both my husband and me. The dress had to be light, flowing and flirty, so I came up with the design for the dress myself. I accessorized the dress with festive white accessories, but my mother made the hairpin," says Ilze.

Older couples are more responsible for their decisions

Ilze and Oskars advise other couples not to be afraid to dare to fulfill their dreams. "I have met couples who are no longer young and therefore decide to get married only as a couple or with the closest witnesses. But the fact that you are no longer young does not mean that you cannot celebrate life and such a beautiful event as a wedding.

Mature couples are more responsible for their decisions and make their own decisions, no matter how bold they are. They don't have to be pampered by anyone because they are financially responsible themselves. It is important for the couple to understand what vision they both have for the wedding, the interests that both want, it is necessary to agree on a common concept. The couple should not rush, they should understand what they want. And it doesn't matter what others think or what other people's weddings have been like, but you have to realize your own dreams," advises Ilze and Oskars.
