WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER INTA PHOTOGRAPHY: A WEDDING IS A TEAMWORK!

December is the time when we not only prepare for the most beautiful and family-friendly holidays of the year, but also look back on what we experienced during the year. Both individually and all together. This has also been a really exciting and interesting year for those working in the wedding industry, so

until the end of the year, LĪGAVĀM.LV will share the opinions of TOP wedding experts about this year and hopes for the future.

Wedding photographer Inta Lankovska/ Inta Photography admits that one of the coolest adventures of this year's wedding season was participating in the wedding of skydivers. They were celebrated at the Šiauliai airfield in Lithuania, where the young couple also jumped with parachutes together with their friends. "It was a day filled with sunshine, joy and adrenaline. What's more, it's interesting that, according to what I experienced and told, it aroused interest and enthusiasm in my husband, so after two weeks we were back in Šiauliai, and now my husband is also learning to jump with a parachute," says Inta.

The wedding photographer states that during this year she has been pleased to see that more and more original places for ceremonies and celebrations are appearing in Latvia. They are the most diverse - museum gardens, modern cafes in Riga, warehouse hangars and many other places.

"When looking for the right place for your celebration, I recommend not to be afraid of traditional ideas of where a wedding should take place,"

recommends Inta.

A wedding is a team effort, and being on the same page is happiness! Inta also made sure of this this wedding season.

Two wedding traditions are still very dear to her

  1. the so-called first look or the first meeting of a couple whose traditions can be traced back to the USA. "First Look is the moment when the bride and groom meet in a special place before the ceremony to see each other in all their glory and then go to the photo session freshly made up. I love this moment because seeing your future husband/wife is a thrilling moment and it is even more beautiful to share it just the two of you.
  2. as well as the so-called unplugged ceremonies, or weddings without smartphones, when the new couple has asked all the wedding guests to put down their phones, tablets and brought cameras for the duration of the ceremony and allow themselves to experience this festive moment in real life, not through a screen," says Inta.

In the next wedding season, she wishes every bride to set aside 15 minutes just for herself and her new husband on the wedding day

– the hours pass at a fast pace and the impressions are so great that it is important to keep someone for a moment just for the two of you. "And, of course, to set aside 15 minutes for the photographer in the very evening, when the sun is already running towards the horizon, to capture that magical sunset light!" Inta says with a smile.
