Tom asked and Rebecca said “Yes!”!
But their beautiful proposal was helped by the wedding agency Crystal Events , which already announced a proposal call in October, looking for that one and only special groom who wants to propose to his beloved already this winter.
Crystal Events in their proposal invitation, they were looking for the initiator of a new love story to arrange the most beautiful proposal in the world for free.
The atmosphere, environment, decorations, dinner and everything else was taken care of by Crystal Events , saying that it is wonderful to be a part of a true celebration of love. "The contest caused a great response, and we received countless sweet and touching letters. However, one of them stood out in particular, that's how we got to know Tom. Tom wrote us a heart-warming letter, which was like a love story between the two of them. At that moment, we realized that we really wanted to bring them this joy," says Crystal Events wedding organizer Sigita Danilicha.
Over the course of several months, the Crystal Events team secretly communicated with Tom, learning from his heartfelt stories about both his and the couple's shared love story.
"We listened to Tom's stories about their shared adventures and learned the things that make Rebecca his special woman. Everything we learned, we tried to wear on their engagement day. In the details, we emphasized things that are unique to them. These were Rebecca's favorites. These were their pictures together. These were the things that make Tom love her so much. It was a menu created especially for them. Sweets that they taste, their favorite drinks and in the climax - a real work of art. We conjured up a color palette that seemed to be the most suitable for them. Green - their sincerity, both for nature and for each other, so that they reflected exactly their mood." says Sigita.
Wedding professionals in Latvia participated in the creation of the invitation. In addition to Crystal Events , which organized the whole process of the proposal, the talented wedding photographer Miks Šēls also got involved, Oksana Solnceva took care of paper design matters, and Yvette baked the salted caramel cake.
"The whole preparation process was, of course, worrying. From the beginning, I didn't know what to expect, whether Rebekah would like it, because the most important thing for me was to prepare everything so that she would remember this day only with positive emotions. Later, when we were deeper in the preparation process, and I saw the ideas and vision of the people involved, I became calmer, because I realized that I could fully trust their professionalism.
The proposal itself will remain in my memory for the rest of my life, because everything turned out wonderfully. Every little detail was thought of and the result was fantastic. We are very, very grateful to the whole team,"
says Tom excitedly.
Needless to say, the bride-to-be had no idea about the proposal. Tom had invited Rebecca to a couple's photo shoot with photographer Mick Scheel. And that's how their morning of December 20 began - in an apparent couple's photo shoot. However, as the pair headed into the studio, Rebecca was blindfolded. Removing it, Tom read a self-written letter to Rebecca, followed by a heart-wrenching proposal.
"The feelings about what I experienced are not easy to express. I didn't realize anything until the moment when the blindfold was removed. When I saw all the created beauty around me, I immediately understood that Tom would propose to me right away.
Completely excited, but at the same time extremely sweet, he read me the letter, and of course I cried. Then he got down on one knee and asked to be his wife. I could hardly speak, but my heart already said a convincing YES! In the proposal, everything was thought out to the smallest detail. My favorite colors are gray and green. My favorite sweets are salted caramel cake and cocoa. And even a swing that I don't think I'll ever grow out of. It was an extremely beautiful day," shares the bride Rebeka's feelings.
