We asked Ieva how the fitting of wedding dresses goes and what the bride should prepare before going to the wedding dress salon.

What wedding fashion trends do brides want to see more often in their wedding dresses at the moment and how much do they influence Amelii wedding dress designs?

Clean lines are relevant in wedding fashion – this effect is created by homogeneous materials, such as satin, satin and chiffon, both in tight-fitting dress designs that highlight the bride's elegance and femininity, and in flexible and slightly more voluminous, airy designs. Floral patterns, which have always been very relevant in wedding fashion, are very popular.

We go with the times, we create what we like - dress designs in which Amelii the bride can look special, attractive and feel comfortable at the same time. Our dresses are feminine and elegant, and we complement the collections with current and stylish wedding dress designs.

How many wedding dresses do you need to try on to be sure of your choice - yes, this is the right one! Does it happen that the bride gets it right with the first dress she tries on?

Brides are very different. There are times when a bride puts on her first dress and says, "Yes, that's the one!" However, we always encourage you to try on more dresses - dresses of different designs, colors and models, in order to be sure of your choice and not to have a situation where, when you go home, you wonder if the chosen dress is really the right one. There are also customers who choose wisely and come to try on dresses several times.

We spend an average of one and a half hours in the studio for each client and try on around ten dresses.

Do you also recommend the most suitable accessories for your outfits?

TOP accessory for the bride is a veil; this accessory highlights the personality of the bride. If an ascetic dress is chosen, it can be a beautiful voluminous design veil with flowers, frills, embroidery, bird feathers - everything available in our dress materials. On the other hand, if the dress itself is quite pompous, sufficiently noticeable, then the veil is an ascetic addition to the outfit.

According to the need and desire, the wedding dress can be supplemented with a belt, a small sparkle that sparkles in the sun, or a hair ornament coordinated with the belt. These are basic things to make the outfit complete and festive.

Other times, brides say that they don't want anything special, but we have to remember that a wedding is a holiday, and during the holidays we can be different, more pompous, more different, because we will probably never wear anything like that again in our life.

What transformations can be made in a ready-made dress if the bride wants to change the nuances?

Depending on the design of the dress, we can change various nuances - create a slightly deeper neckline, change the length of the sleeves, change the neckline from a V-shaped to a boat-shaped neckline or deepen the V-shaped neckline of the back.

How long has the Amelii brand been pleasing brides?

Amelii will already be 11 years old in the summer. Starting from the first 10-11 dresses, we have grown to a two-story store, export and foreign brides. We have spread our wings during these years.

Most of the brides' wishes have already crystallized before going to the wedding studio, but don't be afraid if you like something else.
