You should start enjoying the wedding day from the moment of engagement – you should enjoy not only the day itself, but the entire preparation time and every day on the way to it.
Many brides call this time that way - a journey. Brides all over the world, sharing their experiences, recommend paying special attention to several aspects, including a healthy diet and good sleep - two prerequisites that every bride should follow.
Moreover, it should be done not only a week before the wedding, but it is best to start these principles in your everyday life, to follow them now. Brides admit - the skin will shine more, the hair will be stronger and the overall well-being of the body will be excellent.
Don't follow fashion trends just because someone said so. A bride should dress and look exactly how she feels best on her wedding day. "I found my wedding dress in Lithuania, and it is exactly what I wanted - luxurious, with crystals and embroidery.
I wanted my image as a bride to be as free as possible, and this, in my opinion, is very important - for the bride to feel beautiful and confident about herself.
I feel beautiful with my hair down, and that's exactly the hairstyle I chose for my wedding day. I think that a bride has only one task on her wedding day - to feel liberated and think only about the most beautiful event, and not to worry about something not forcing her somewhere," shares the experience of singer Natālija Tumševica-Ērgle, who last fall became the wife of Kristaps, the son of cardiologist Andrejas Ērgle, known in Latvia.
More and more brides choose to look beautiful not only on the wedding day, but to try the desired make-up and hairstyle before the wedding to see how it will look and coordinate with the dress.
Brides are advised to try everything down to the smallest detail, including even the shade of lipstick, so that in the end it does not happen that the dreamy smoky makeup and bright red lips do not suit the overall image and feeling of the bride. Natalija also advises other brides to prepare for their wedding on time.
"I definitely recommend brides to try on a dress and do a trial make-up and hairstyle before the wedding day.
I am also in favor of the fact that we are allowed to ask our girlfriends and closest people for help - in my opinion, it is an honor for every girlfriend to help her on her wedding day," assured Natalija.
It is one thing to prepare for the wedding day practically, but it is quite another to prepare for it emotionally, which is as important, if not more important, than preparing practically. If the bride will be happy, feel calm, comfortable and in harmony with herself, then she will also be the most beautiful. As trite as it is true.
"Our whole wedding day was full of beautiful moments, but one of the most special was the moment when all the guests are waiting, the groom is standing at the altar and I walk with my father, who gives me into the arms of the groom.
It is a heartfelt moment that every bride wants to experience. However, a wedding is only one stage in this beautiful journey called marriage. It's also a joint effort, because family doesn't just mean fairy-tale-worthy motifs. Only through love can we maintain our relationship and understand each other. I recommend, both on your wedding day and afterwards throughout the marriage, to often look at everything happening as a third person from the outside - only with understanding can we see further and more," says Natalija.
