HE. BETWEEN THE LINES. SHE.

HE. BETWEEN THE LINES. SHE.

“There are still thousands of things I don't know about him, and a thousand more after that.”
(Rīka Pulkinen)

Isn't the secret what we look for in each other? Or vice versa - we are looking acquaintance? Is it possible to know a person? And does the other person help us get to know yourself? Maybe it helps to realize how much we still don't know about ourselves? What is more important - the known or the unknown?

When I read a novel or a poem, I tend to think about whether the written lines are more important or what left between the lines.

But can one exist without the other? I often think about the people who inspire me in exactly the same similes the strongest interest. Most often, these are people from whom a secret radiates. Who? This, of course, cannot be understood, - so it's already a secret. Maybe it's a border beyond which a person doesn't let him get closer, and that's why want to get there. Maybe it is an illusion and there is no secret?

Maybe autumn will answer, but maybe as usual - ask.

I have always been interested in the question - is it possible to get to know a person? Can anyone confidently say about someone: "I him." I know!". I love him because I know him? Or maybe it's the other way around - I love him because there is still an infinite amount of unknowns in him, the mysterious one to unravel in a lifetime? Let it be exciting and interesting! But what about a sense of security? The familiar creates security, the unknown - suspicion, doubt, fear? Or the intrigue and the desire to learn, the desire to get to know each other and come closer?

"Why fear when you can trust the unknown?"

Perhaps both sides are equally important: that the person we are next to and who is next to us is the best for us known man in the world, and at the same time let him be a man about whom there is still so much to learn that it is enough for a whole for life or even longer if given the chance. Because why would we return home to a person we don't know? And why for us to come home to a person we already (seemingly) know everything about? If a person is in development and changes, it not actually possible.

"How much do we know about each other?
Little, very little,
As if we are celebrating a joint holiday,
As if common working days,
And yet – how little we know.”
(Māris Čaklais)

"Love begins unplanned," says writer Rīka Pulkinen. And it is, but it may or may not continue exclusively as a conscious choice and interest in another person. And similarly as with any knowledge (the more I know, the stronger the feeling that I still don't know so much), it's the same with getting to know a person. The deeper we get to know a person, the more unknown horizons are revealed. And that's the good news. That is why it is important to develop and improve your own interest in the person we live next to. Do not pass each other. Moreover, it is through getting to know each other that we we can get to know ourselves better, feel what makes us different, as well as be an impulse for the other's interest in himself.

If you are interested in me, then I also find it interesting to lift myself up, maybe to be in those places in myself where I haven't been yet been, but if you're ready to go there with me, why not? Why not get to know each other's fragile selves depth, while keeping what lies between the lines in the books a secret or a guess at the level…?

"In my opinion, only through doubt you get somewhere.
Through the inner obscurity, the fog you walk through.
Clarity is often a very dangerous thing.”
(Vladislav Nastavshev)

It is beautiful to be interested, but it is dangerous to think that we know. It can leave a feeling that there is nowhere further and deeper goes, although I believe that there is always. Both in relationships, in science, and in any other area of life. Let's go in autumn, let's go get to know each other and through each other - yourself!

The rain will not dry up for a while.
The rain will not dry up for a while.
I will take off my shoes, close my eyes and go.
The heart will stay where it is.
