When communicating with wedding professionals, the question of price is always at the top of the list of questions. This is where the first confusion begins. Why does one decorator say that the design will cost 2,500 EUR and another says 7,000 EUR? And then a third person appears who says that the decoration will cost 700 EUR. In addition, you have shown one mood board for all three decorators.

Each wedding specialist has a different understanding of quality service. A host believes that jokes aimed at embarrassing guests are perfectly normal, and pencil and bottle competitions are at the forefront of the fun. Another host knows how to adapt to the mood of the guests, knows how to joke so that everyone is funny and no one is awkward, and also conducts the event cheerfully, with a good dose of humor, but intelligently.

A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event in most cases, so finding quality wedding service providers is very important. If you save a few hundred euros and hire a cheaper wedding photographer with a lower quality, you risk being left without beautiful wedding pictures that you will keep for the rest of your life. Were a few hundred euros really that important at that particular moment? You will earn a few hundred euros more, but you will hardly get to rephotograph the wedding later.

Perhaps a wedding organizer does not worry about whether the cutlery on the guest tables is polished, and believes that everything will be fine already on the wedding day and that there is no need to worry. This point may or may not be related to the previous one. It is accepted to believe that the specialist who works longer in the industry is better. So a photographer with 15 years of experience will be better and more qualitative than a specialist with 5 years of experience. It seems logical, but if you look at this situation from another point of view?

What if the photographer who has been working in the industry for a long time had not developed his skills and knowledge in photography all this time and today he photographs in the same way as he did 15 years ago? But a specialist with 5 years of experience is constantly developing, learning new skills and always following the latest trends in the art of photography? What matters is not how long a photographer has been working, but whether he evolves with the times and follows the changes in the wedding industry.

Different vision and handwriting

If you have already searched for a wedding planner for your wedding, then you may have come across that different planners quote different costs for a wedding. Why is this happening? When you approach the organizer or decorator, the specialist will make you an offer based on two things - your wishes and his vision of how the wedding should look.

For example, if you tell a decorator that you want a wedding with light textiles and small arrangements with red and pink roses, both decorators will imagine it differently. Of course, this presentation will also cost differently. In some cases, even the inspiration pictures prepared by the bride cannot be saved. If a florist knows how to make only one type of composition, even if he shows the decor he wants, most likely he will not be able to repeat it. And if you choose a cheaper decorator, you risk not getting what you envisioned.

Various other aspects that can affect the price should always be taken into account, - the location of the service provider (prices often differ in Riga and regions); whether the service is provided in season or out of season; whether you need standard or, on the contrary, unique solutions; recognition and demand of the service provider; what materials the specific service provider works with or what cooperation partners it works with and many other aspects.

Before you start researching prices for wedding specialists, formulate for yourself what a normal wedding looks like, how you imagine your wedding, what is acceptable to you and what is not. Decide what your wedding budget will be, because it is important that the wishes match the possibilities. Then, look for professionals in the appropriate price range whose values ​​match yours and whose work appeals to you.
