A WEDDING DECADE IN THE MOOD OF ITALY

In our essence, we are pure Latvians - we were born in Latvia, we have always lived here, we love and respect this land, we celebrate these feast of the earth, we enjoy its benefits, and this is definitely a place where we want to live in the future as well. And yes, also your wedding we celebrated in Latvia.

But we have fallen in love with Italy since the beginning of our acquaintance. We express our love to it quite often trips to this country and Italian music, which also appears from time to time since the wedding trip to the south of Italy in our everyday life. We know what ie amo and gelato , and pasta is still our favorite food.

Already on June 11, 2020, when we celebrated our 9-year wedding anniversary , we informed our June 11, 2011 wedding guests that we would like to meet them this year. Covid introduced its adjustments and we realized that the coveted party instead of our wedding in an Italian atmosphere (in which we also celebrated our wedding), we will move to other times. But it is clear that this the date we wanted to celebrate -

is more than June 11 for us.

We had an excellent team with us at the wedding, and the video operator surprised us with his performance - he from had created a wonderful video clip accompanied by a beautiful song for small moments captured on the wedding day.

This year life gave us the opportunity to meet an excellent video master and we realized that the best gift we can give ourselves is an unforgettable experience with an Italian flavor (because if it weren't for Covid, this year we would probably visit our beloved Italy), who will be remembered for a long time through the video clip and photos.

Just like our married life, the scenario of such a special day for us was created by both of us sharing each other's crazy and cool ideas. Then we came to the scenario that predicted:

waking up at 2:15 to be ruined for the day,
sunrise at 5:00 at Kīšezer,
staying in another time zone - in a guest house Out of time,
breakfast with a festive table for just the two of us, at which a 10-year-old, but still extremely special event is recounted in photographic format,
enjoying ice cream without restrictions throughout the day (ice cream is a present element in our everyday life already since the wedding where guests gave us money for endless ice cream on our honeymoon in Italy - we we also performed it in honor of that),
arriving near the place of our wedding celebration,
Italian mood all day long.

The fire offered by nature remained out of the scenario - at At 5:00 in the morning the air temperature was +1 degree, but we were filming quite a summer clip. We couldn't have predicted it in the script, but we ended up with an excellent team, which also became ours the only and main guests, making the day even more special. Also, the frequent changing of clothes was not originally in the script intended, but by implementing it, we gained for this day both a different splendor and new feelings with which to enrich the common mood.

Just like the wedding, we also organized 95% of this event ourselves. In our opinion, preparation for these processes is something the same as special and unrepeatable as the holiday itself. We did not want to steal a single moment from this adventure, challenge and at the time of enjoyment.

The car that the husband found - Alfa Romeo Spyder - gave an excellent atmosphere, and a strong Italian one. All in it throughout the day we listened to Italian music on tape and, just like ice cream, melted from the little things and details that made the day so special and memorable.

Insights after the wedding decade celebration:

don't be afraid to come up with ideas, even if the budget is limited - there are fantastic people in Latvia who will ready to "jump" with you also for a more symbolic payment, because the main thing is the idea and the event,
is so cool that the team becomes more than make-up artists, decorators, photographers and video operators. Ours one of the most vivid memories of the celebration is about these small and special moments, conversations, moments of pleasure together with the team,
cooperation is important - it will be interesting and exciting for both of them to implement the idea, if it contains something of what they want one, both of what is important and pleasing to the other,
although photos and videos, especially when viewed over a longer period of time, are a real asset, the most important however, if you manage to be on the day of the holiday, first of all, be each other and this moment. If it is possible to implement this "condition", then both the video operator and the photographers are guaranteed to get excellent material.

Just like after the wedding, also after the wedding anniversary celebration has a feeling - yes, it was exactly what we wanted and enjoyed with all the senses.
