When more than a month ago, the application for the project "Wedding gift or colorful dreams awake" was announced on the Līgavām.lv portal, no one expected that 136 applications would be received, and those that would make you laugh and cry from emotion. The organizers knew what they were looking for - a couple with spring in their hearts and a magical love story. Such a couple who celebrate life brightly, are not afraid of the unusual and imagine their dream wedding bright - both in emotions and colors. And just such a pair has been found!

The happy couple was announced to modern brides of the portal Līgavām.lv at the opening event on April 28.

The organizers of the "Wedding gift" project admit that love is a magical thing, it obeys neither rules nor regulations. If it could be framed, then deciding which couple to give this special gift to would be much easier. After talking with five couples, the organizers made sure that each of them deserved to receive such a gift - each of the five couples charmed with their personalities, shared very special moments from their lives - both sad, fun and crazy adventures. It was not possible to choose one, so the organizers decided not to make a decision about one specific pair, but to leave it to the higher power and draw lots.

This time luck was on the side of two young people and for the happy couple who will say the magical YES on May 30! Līga and Arnis have become.

Līga and Arnis are a couple who are not afraid of adventures and getting to know the world. Together, they have experienced both earthquakes and typhoons (literally and figuratively) and convinced themselves that they were made for each other. Although Līga and Arnis have been together for a little more than three years, they themselves admit that the feelings are at least lifelong, if not eternal. "We have spent more than half of the time spent together traveling as a couple, through great and not so great days we have gotten to know each other better, we are each other's biggest support, we love each other, more than each other and every day even more and stronger," this is what the couple says about their love.

Līga and Arni met several times in this life, always felt sympathy for each other, but several years passed before they MET for real. And when that happened, they became inseparable. After spending only seven months together, Arnim was offered a business trip to the city of Cebu in the Philippines. Not knowing anything about this exotic country, the two made a decision and after a couple of weeks Arnis was already packing his suitcases so that the next month would be spent apart at a distance of 9,626 kilometers, but after a month the two would meet on the other side of the world.

"The joy of meeting again was immeasurable and seemed like a dream. However, the dream was followed by a rather profound encounter with reality, we were on the other side of the world, in a completely different environment, where everything was different than usual, starting with food and ending with basic movement, health problems also caused great concern. The first half of the year was difficult for me and I am grateful to Arnim that he was always by my side and supported me, despite the fact that it wasn't so easy myself, working night shifts. We both had very critical moments one after the other, after which we also thought about going home, but we still decided not to give up," says future bride Līga.

Now both are back in Latvia, but getting to know the world is one of their biggest loves in life. They have traveled and will travel a lot, but one of the biggest journeys of their life - MARRIAGE - will start very soon. "Right now we feel a pleasant excitement. It's like living in a kind of dream, because usually the wedding is planned for longer than a month. However, we are very happy about this outcome - we believe that everything is happening as it should happen, because already at the beginning of the year we both had the desire to get married this year. The outcome is also quite legal - we really always get lucky in lotteries. And this is the big draw," said the couple about their biggest this year gift of the year.

The authors of the project will provide the new couple with a wedding organizer, invitations, photographer and wedding album, video camera team, ceremony and celebration place, drinks, dinner and sweet table, ceremony and celebration place flower decorations, wedding dress and groom's suit, preparation place for the bride, morning dress for the bride, bride's hairstyle and make-up, massage course for the bride's health and beauty, as well as a place of preparation for the groom, and hotel suites for the couple.
