I would like to say that couples choose less to define a specific style, but more to feel what they would like to experience at the wedding and what kind of atmosphere to feel around them. Anyway, among my pairs, the least popular is the classic. I think it's because each couple finds their real organizer, who with their handwriting already determines what everyone wants to go to. Most often I hear such words as romantic, light, airy, unsaturated, tasteful.
The basic idea that I realize when organizing weddings for couples is to find some personal detail for them to stick to and that would be meaningful to them. The rest, on the other hand, we cultivate by dreaming. You definitely need to experiment, but to the limit, so that the end result is not that everything seen Pinterest is also implemented in one wedding, as a result of which everything is too much.
It must be taken into account that research should be done on what is available on the market. For example, it is very difficult to get the olive shade that is so relevant this year. If you need envelopes of this color, there are none in Latvia or Europe. They have to be ordered from the US, which of course takes some time.
This shade will therefore be quite limited when thinking about decorating the celebration - tablecloths, cloth napkins, furniture and other props in this shade will not be so easy to find. It should be taken into account that when choosing a specific style, you might have to order something specially, produce it, because until now it has not been relevant for anyone else. Therefore, they are also additional costs.
It should also be understood that if the couple has chosen, for example, art deco style, then it is not enough that the bridal dress will be in this style, but you must think about all the smaller and larger nuances, creating the overall story.
Certainly the classics will not disappear anywhere, as well as everything green and natural continues its path of fame.
If until now people were accustomed and became down to earth in the choice of shades, then this year I feel that will explode bright colors and will serve as a complement to gray, olive green and smoky blue tone.
Urban weddings are also relevant. I promise to have interesting themes for the wedding this year as well - an airport story, an open-air cinema night, a winter fairy tale and others.
These are mostly one-day weddings in a restaurant or some function room in the city, rarely with brunch the next day. In them, people choose small crossings and not so much closeness to nature. Also, they are characterized by industrial elements and spaces, and in such weddings it is typical to use less traditions, including mixing, putting emphasis on a warm and fun party.
I must say that I have rarely heard of such a concept wedding in Latvia. I think that here people are even more lazy and not so obsessed with applying the lives of famous characters / movie characters to their own, as it happens, for example, in the USA. In Latvia, people see weddings more as a special and solemn event, not so theatrical.
