THERE IS A BIOHACKER IN EVERYONE OF US

THERE IS A BIOHACKER IN EVERYONE OF US

Everyone wants to feel harmonious and inspiring in their physical and mental manifestations. This becomes especially relevant at the time when we are preparing for the wedding and realize how energetic we feel when we are well rested and have devoted undivided attention to ourselves and our loved ones. We can all develop our physical abilities and change our state of consciousness to the most powerful version of ourselves. And it is always an investment both in yourself and in the relationship. We invited Kaspars Vendelis, one of the founders of the Latvian biohacker movement, to a conversation to find out what biohacking is and how to implement it in your everyday life.

What is biohacking?

In English, hack means to hack. The essence of biohacking can also be found in the direct translation. Kaspars Vendelis organizes inspiring and energizing biohacking camps, or restarts, where you can experience biohacking techniques such as breathing techniques or tempering on your own skin, spending three days relaxing and getting to know practical biohacking techniques.

Kaspars says: "The human body is like a super-complex computer. You can also hack something in this computer or, in other words, understand the system of this smart machine and make it more powerful, so that you can work much better, experience more energy, sleep less - so that a person becomes more productive. Biohacking is a prism of thinking, how to improve your life and performance, a way for healthy people to become even healthier. People extremely dislike the discomfort caused by diseases Symptoms are often mistaken for the disease itself.

However, high blood pressure does not suddenly arise from something and is often rather a therapy to normalize the function of the relevant organs to some extent, for example, if the liver or kidneys are not functioning optimally, this can manifest as high blood pressure. The inability to feel oneself to the point of subtlety is what prevents a person from living fully. Biohacking is a way of thinking about using science and technology and nature to support natural processes. The sauna is also a technology by nature. There are various breathing techniques, emotional discharge techniques, all of which can be called biohacking. It is important to pay attention to both the physical body and mental health. You can't meditate on healthy food."

Listen to yourself

Basically, biohacking is anything we do for our health and wellness. Anything good for the body and mind in the long run. Some of the methods of biohacking are: breathing techniques, elimination diet, adequate sleep, meditation and smart time planning.

"The human body is such an intelligent system that knows what needs to be done,

as long as we don't disturb it," says Kaspar. And the most amazing thing is that each of us can be our own biohacker, because the starting point is self-knowledge. "One of the main topics I talk about in my lectures is the ability to know yourself, to listen. There is no single answer to the question - what diet should I introduce, what to eat, what not to eat in order to lose weight. Everyone has their own answer. Everyone has a different level of preparation, readiness to start doing. The ability to listen to oneself is the main thing that everyone should do.

The second thing I emphasize is the importance of regeneration. All the good things that happen to us, so that we are ready to be active, happen when we rest - muscles grow at night, the body regenerates at night, the brain organizes itself at night. When we realize the importance of renewal and implement it in our everyday life, everything starts to fall into place. By introducing small moments of rest every 90 minutes every day, there is an insidious feeling that we are losing time. However, the opposite is true - in the long run, we directly gain time.

When we go to sleep, we gain time, not lose it. If you don't sleep for two days, what happens to you? How powerful will you be?” The time when we are preparing for the wedding is unfathomably beautiful, emotionally fulfilling and romantic, but at the same time, if we forget about rest, we can also get exhausted in the heap of organizing tasks. Therefore, remembering the great importance of rest is worth its weight in gold.

With small steps towards big results

If you have decided to organize the wedding yourself or if you are planning to accomplish some grand joint task, for example, to build a family house, both of you will run a marathon together, at some point it may seem that the task you have planned is too big. However, this is only an appearance. Kaspar says: "If I dropped a huge pile of logs and said, 'Now you have to chop it into logs,' you would want to postpone the job." When you see something so large and huge, you realize that it will take so much time that you don't even want to start. The nervous system throws us into energy saving mode.

How to deal with it?

Talk to yourself that you will start with one block today. You cut it, and although your task today is not to do more, understand - but I can do more! Thus, you will never run out of energy, moreover, energy tends to increase. Things should start with such small steps. People read countless diets and recipes to do for themselves, but that is exactly why they are unable to start doing it, because they get confused in the mass of information. At first, find one thing, the easiest one, with which you can start. Start by regularly taking five seconds for yourself. No phone.

One movement will start to set other things in motion and excitement will appear."

Everyone can

Kaspars inspires everyone, regardless of their level of preparation, to find and use their health and well-being improvement tools. To be happy and fulfilled and to build a harmonious relationship, you have to start with finding yourself and getting to know yourself. Because biohacking is not only a story about body procedures, sports, superfoods, it is also a story about the state of consciousness, about how we think. And from the way we think, the way we look at the world, our care for the body also follows. "At the age of 35-40, people start to reconsider the big question: Am I in the right place? When solving it, ask yourself:

What are my unique skills? People often don't know this. Knows what not to like, what not to give up.

If you don't know what your uniqueness is, you can simply find out by sending 10-20 people, friends, relatives, colleagues, a question about what they think, from the outside, is my unique skill. When you open your case, it is not necessary to write your resignation at work the next day. But the design idea and slowly make the transition though. You can believe in yourself very quickly, just by taking the first small steps. Take one step, prove to yourself that you can, and you will already be curious - if I can do this, then what else. Anyone can take the first small step." Motivate each other by supporting your loved one's small and big steps. This is already one of the magics of living together - the power we create together.
